¶ Introduction
I have been trying to understand what Nginx proxy manager is and how it works. I have learnt a lot about this tool and it is a very helpful too. I have managed to deploy it within my home lab and I have managed to set it up with a domain that I do not use. Considering that this tool works very well, I have purchased a new domain, which is valid for 10 years. I will shift all of my remote access applications on the new domain using Nginx proxy manager. This tool has a lot more functionality that I have not tested yet. One thing I will need to ensure is to run the nginx proxy manager container in high availability across a proxmox HA cluster.

I need to determine why access control is not working for Nginx proxy manager. It may be a caching issue or I may need to flush DNS. Either way this issue will need to be looked into. I am hoping that if I can properly deploy Nginx proxy manager, I may be able to start the deployment of Outline. I am not sure if it will be a better replacement to Joplin. I do like the notion interface and Outline is very similar to Notion.
